1. Player Agreement with Rugby Edge

1. Introduction 

Please read this agreement entirely to understand Rugby Edge’s expectations. If the Player has any questions or concerns regarding this agreement, the Player is requested to WhatsApp Rugby Edge’s Mr. Thomas Pieterse at 083 308 7848 to schedule a phone call.

By enrolling in Rugby Edge’s program, the Player agrees to the terms and conditions outlined in this agreement. This agreement is not to be construed as an employment contract between Rugby Edge and the Player.

If the Player does not agree with Rugby Edge’s terms and expectations, the Player should not enroll in Rugby Edge’s program. Rugby Edge’s program is selective and designed for families who fully buy into Rugby Edge’s culture.

2. Definitions and Interpretations 

2.1 The following words and phrases shall have these meanings:

• Gross Misconduct: Serious or persistent conduct by the Player, such as theft, fraud, damage to property, use of prohibited substances, or failure to comply with this agreement.
• Internet: The global network of computer systems using TCP/IP protocols.
• Laws of the Game: The laws governing Rugby Union.
• Media: Any form of media, including the Internet, television, radio, and print.
• Player: The individual enrolled in the program, including the parent/guardian if the Player is a minor (under 18).
• Rugby Edge: The organization providing the program, including its directors, employees, representatives, and coaches.
• Rugby Edge’s Website: The online site for Rugby Edge.
• Rugby Edge’s Fees: The fees payable by the Player for 3 months’ enrollment in Rugby Edge’s program.

2.2 Interpretations:

• The singular includes the plural and vice versa.
• References to a person include any entity, business, or association.
• References to statutory enactments include re-enactments and amendments.

2.3 Clause headings are for convenience and not for interpretation. 

2.4 If the Player is a minor, the parent/guardian signing this agreement is bound to all obligations, including financial ones.

3. Appointment and Duration

3.1 This Agreement commences on the date of signing and lasts for a minimum of 3 months. 

3.2 If the Player cancels within 3 months, they must provide 30 days’ written notice. Fees remain payable, and no reimbursement will be given. 3.3 This agreement continues until canceled per the terms outlined.

4. Payment Policy

4.1 Payment Options:

• Full Payment: Pay in full for a discount.
• Split Payment: Two installments, one-half due at signing, the other within 40 days.
• Monthly Payment: Three installments, one-third due at signing, the second within 30 days, and the final within 60 days.

4.2 Late payments incur 15% annual interest. Legal fees for collection are the Player’s responsibility. 

4.3 No rescheduled sessions for missed ones unless specified in this agreement. 

4.4 No refunds. All sales are final. 

4.5 Payments are through automatic electronic transfer. Failed payments require a new payment method within 12 hours.

5. Player Expectations and Interaction with Rugby Edge

5.1 The Player agrees to:

• Be positive and coachable.
• Bring their journal to every session.
• Work hard and complete all tasks.
• Be accountable and committed to the program.
• Bring a full water bottle and proper attire.
• Use additional resources provided by Rugby Edge.
• Fill out monthly and quarterly reports.
• Accept constructive feedback and maintain physical fitness.

5.2 The Player agrees not to:

• Wear anything dangerous during training.
• Engage in behavior that could bring Rugby Edge into disrepute.

5.3 Contact Rugby Edge via WhatsApp or email between 8 am and 6 pm, Monday to Friday. Responses are within 12 hours on weekdays. 

5.4 No responses to emails or texts over weekends. 

5.5 Practice cancellations due to weather or emergencies will be communicated via WhatsApp, and sessions will be rescheduled as Zoom calls at 6 pm. 

5.6 The Player must arrive 15 minutes early for warm-ups. 

5.7 Late arrivals forfeit the session time. 

5.8 Missed sessions can be rescheduled within the same or following week if a form is submitted 48 hours in advance. Rugby Edge may allow a two-hour session to make up for a missed session.

6. Communication and Feedback

6.1 Rugby Edge values open communication and encourages players to ask questions and seek feedback.
